| Which are the characteristics of the electronic load limiter for the field of hoisting ? | Go back to the FAQ | |

| Two types of electronic load limiters, connected to SENSY load cells (see below) are advised to guarantee both user and manufacturer of hoisting devices that the capacity of the limitation in relation to their lifting equipment will not be exceeded.
The first type is the economic analogical version represented by the BRIDGE BOY-1R and 3R. The second one is the digital load limiter CRANE-BOY, including the "COACH®" system, which is considered as the alter ego of the "black box" installed in airplanes.
This intelligent data logger ("COACH®") ensures that the legal obligation to guarantee the safety of people and materials is met.
It also ensures registration of all the activities related to the control and maintenance of hoisting devices as well as of the loading activities as executed to the installed crane or applied devices.
Moreover, the "COACH®" calculates the "FEM" classification and determines the "SWP" (safe working period) of the crane on which it is installed.
