In one of his studies, our client wanted to simultaneously measure and record the torque applied by the engine and the thrust thus generated.

 The values to be measured are:

  •        Torque
  •        Force  
  •        Overload capacity without damage: 200%.

 

As the tests are carried out in flight, this load cell should be able to operate and be compensated at low temperatures (-60°C). It should also have to operate under low pressure (5,000 Absolute Pa).

 

In collaboration with the customer, SENSY has developed and manufactured a specific force transducer combining torque and force measurement.
